"It's F**king awesome" Tom DeLonge, Angels and Airwaves, Blink 182, Box Car Racer,

April 15, 2012

So yesterday I had the privilege  of meeting one of the most successful rock musicians of all time, Tom DeLonge.

For those of you that may have been out of music for at least 20 years Tom is one of the founding member of the bands Blink 182, Box Car Racer and Angels and Airwaves, since then has gone on to sell over 30 million records and headline several world tours even making appearances on The Simpsons and American Pie.

I was lucky enough to be introduced to Tom’s guitar technician Doug Reesh, who said he would love to check out the pedal. From this point forward I was invited back to meet Tom and see both their thoughts on the Big Bite pedal. This brings me to last night.

I met Tom on stage at the Shepard’s Bush Empire, finally meeting one of my childhood hero’s. It was just before sound check for the Angels and Airwaves gig that night. Tom was on stage playing through his impressive stage rig, trying out his Big Bite pedal.

When talking about the sound with Tom he said “It’s F**king awesome, better than what I’ve been playing”. Hopefully we will be supplying more gear to Tom and his band mates in the future.

To end the evening Tom invited us to the gig where I saw his Big Bite pedal at the front of his rack. An amazing show and an amazing guy. Thanks.
